The Estate & Business Law Group, LLC places the highest value on client service, listening to the clients' needs and wants, responding in a timely fashion, and pricing the service on a flat fee basis whenever possible.  We are old fashioned in our approach to estate planning - everyone is unique and we recognize that.  We do not force the client into a forms template but rather offer custom planning with timely turnaround and individual attention at competitive fees.  We offer service for a fee  -- we do not sell one-size-fits-all forms for a price.  The Estate & Business Law Group also maintains a network of other lawyers and professional advisors to best serve the needs of our clients.

Clients are referred to this practice by other clients, lawyers, accountants, banks, and other financial advisors.  Our mission is to assist individuals, families, professional practitioners, and business owners in planning comprehensively for disability and death, so that they may give what they have to whom they want the way they want and save every tax dollar, court cost, and professional fee possible.

Most estate and business planning matters are provided an initial complimentary consultation to determine issues, facts and direction of the representation, and fees are quoted at that time.  If our services are engaged a portion of the fee is expected at that meeting.  All representations are set out in an engagement agreement.

It is not our practice to send out drafts of documents for estate plans based on revocable or irrevocable trusts but rather an in-office meeting is scheduled to review the documents prior to signing.  Execution of the documents will proceed once the client is satisfied that their planning needs are met.  The balance of the fee is expected at this meeting.  Funding assistance is provided for plans based on trusts.  We offer complimentary estate plan reviews every 2 - 3 years for existing clients.

To ensure a comprehensive approach to planning, clients' advisors are encouraged to participate in the planning process to the extent desired by the client.

Estate planning is a process, not an event.  In an environment where purveyors of simple forms and storefront estate plan "businesses" abound offering cheap and fast alternatives to qualified attorneys, there is no substitute for solid professional experience and legal advice, especially when placing the fruits of your lifetime's efforts, your family, and your wishes in an advisor's hands.

For the house bound, disabled, elderly, and those in nursing homes, we will schedule a premise visit as needed.  We will also meet with estate and business clients at their business site or other professional advisor's office.  To schedule an initial consultation please call or email for a convenient time.
